Go here to view video on multiplication and division

Most of you (and me!) did not learn how to multiply and divide this way but check it out. We are learning this in class and it makes sense and allows your student to use the facts they are most familiar with.

Having trouble making the link work, but if you type it in there should not be a problem.

Thanks for Stopping By

Thank you for taking your time to stop by our blog. Be sure to preview all sites before letting your child have access. Although I do visit the main site, it is impossible for me to preview every game or link. Safely use the internet and monitor your child's access to sites.

I know that your student has worked hard this year and will do their very best on the CRCT. I have great faith in their abilities! Please encourage your student in his/her quest to be the very best. Positive encouragement can go a long way towards student success.

Have a wonderful break,
Mrs. Ed

Educational Website for MEDT 7462

Kids Know It

One website that I think is very useful is the Kids Know It Network. The site has many interactive games, movies, and even music. It is a site that allows students to self select according to their interests or teacher assignment. Links to other sites bring students on a real journey of understanding. I have used this for building background knowledge and student research while investigating the planets, constellations, and moon phases. The kids love it and don't want to leave the computer lab.
